Over the winter between 2016 and 2017 we decided to make an accessory for StarKeeper. In order to make it easier to depart especially in the hot part of the season we decided to make a shroud to take the place of the 5 glass panels across the front.
Every boat owner knows that these things require maintenance to stay in top running order. On this maintenance we inspect the genset water impeller and we finally got around to swapping the hinge on the cockpit fridge.
Prince William Yacht Club and Prince William Marina put on an amazing event every year in September called the Pirates Night on the Hook. Its more than just a raft up. The bring the barge out and set up grilling. Its one of the major events that they put on throughout the year.
We took a trip down to Tims II in Fairview Beach. Due to the wind levels we ended up heading back after the fireworks. Obviously a rocking boat and a long shutter exposure didn't allow for taking pictures of the fireworks.
The engines in our 340 are the Mercruiser 8.1L GM made gas engines. Infortunately the Fuel Cooling Unit has a manufacturing defect that causes paint to accumulate in the injectors and pressure regulator. This was the work to remedy this.
